Bridget Thornborrow
Bridget worked with Lynne Kirwin Associates for three years and in 1993 set up her own business as a theatre publicist. She initially worked with emerging comedians of the 1990s such as Eddie Izzard and Lee Evans but more recently has concentrated on theatre publicity, working extensively with Neil Bartlett at the Lyric Hammersmith until his departure in 2004. She has also represented Shared Experience, Clean Break, Forkbeard Fantasy and Birmingham Opera Company. Other clients/projects include Peter Brook’s Tierno Bokar, the National Theatre (Transformation season, 2002), Out of Joint, Soho Theatre Company, Trestle Theatre Company, This is our Youth (Garrick Theatre) Damsels in Distress (Duchess Theatre), Auntie & Me (Wyndhams Theatre), and Trainspotting (New Ambassadors & Whitehall Theatre), plus several seasons at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh Festival. Bridget produced Lightwork’s national tour of Here’s What I Did with My Body One Day and Sarajevo Story at the Lyric Hammersmith. She has recently produced a rehearsed reading of Philip Osment’s play, A Happy Release, at Hampstead Theatre.
